- Why is a 6-week check included on the Platinum Plus?
The 6-week check allows us to recheck and torque bolts, adjust gears and brakes, and ensure all parts settle correctly after a major service.
- Why do I need a new cassette as well as a new chain?
When a chain wears, it also wears the cassette. Replacing the chain alone after 0.75% wear can prevent premature cassette wear. Beyond 1% wear, a full drivetrain replacement is recommended. Shimano Di2 Electronic Gearsets Repair & Service
Di2 bikes require periodic software updates for optimal performance. Diagnostics and customization start at £25. Supported groupsets include Ultegra Di2, Dura Ace Di2, XTR Di2, and Alfine Di2. We can also upgrade non-Di2 bikes to Di2.
Drivetrain Cleaning
