The FOX Float X Performance Elite EVOL LV 2Pos-Adj is a high-performance air rear shock designed primarily for trail and all-mountain bikes.
It combines an EVOL air spring, a piggyback oil reservoir and a two-position compression adjustment for a balance of small-bump sensitivity, support and control on rough terrain.

How the adjustments work
EVOL LV air spring: The larger-volume air chamber helps the shock respond sensitively to smaller bumps while maintaining support deeper into its travel.
2Pos-Adj compression: Switches between Open mode for descending and Firm mode for climbing. Exact additional compression adjustments depend on the shock's model year and OEM configuration.
Rebound damping: Controls how quickly the shock extends after compression. Slower rebound provides more control but can cause the shock to pack down over repeated bumps.
Volume spacers: Allow the spring's progression to be tuned without changing the initial sag. Adding spacer volume increases bottom-out resistance.
